Under Stair Storage
If you’re looking for a simple and elegant solution to transform the area under your stairs, consider an under stair cupboard for storing bulkier items you need in your home. Even if your utility meters are located in this area, I can create viewing windows and doors to protect them.
Fitted Wardrobes
Are you considering creating more space for your clothes? A fitted wardrobe can utilise every inch of your available space. It includes a floor-to-ceiling carcass that elegantly cuts into your existing coving (if you have any), providing ample hanging space and additional storage above. The wardrobe’s door style is completely tailored to your preferences.
Garden Gates, Fencing, Decking and Structures
Is your garden in need of some TLC? I can help with a range of services, including constructing decking, replacing your fence, or ensuring your gate is functioning correctly to keep out unwanted visitors. If you’ve always wanted a pergola or a dedicated garden office, I can work within your budget to make it happen.
Listening to your ideas...
My aim is to help you make the most from your home and garden. I bring expertise as well as a strong work ethic. Most importantly I listen carefully to your ideas and – with my vision – will undertake your project with care and flair.

Who is the Ealing Carpenter?
My background is diverse, having worked in various careers such as a set and prop maker, an animal handler, children’s television presenter in natural history, a variety performer. Over the last decade I embarked on an ambitious project to build a small species zoo (single-handedly) from the ground up. Unfortunately, the lack of funding during the pandemic severely impacted the zoo’s progress (and my mental well-being). As a result, during the second Covid lockdown, I relocated to the Borough of Ealing to be with my partner, Sarah, and returned to domestic carpentry to make ends meet. Once the pandemic eased, I sold my stake in the zoo to fully commit on my personal relationship and my flourishing carpentry business.
Given my passion for the outdoors and nature I volunteer my skills and time for a couple of local organisations, Friends of Horsenden Hill and Ealing Wildlife Group.
Best wishes, Nick
Stylish Builds
Nick is with you for all stages of your project. From the initial discussion – where he can assess the practicalities and issues -to the design and then the build of the project.
Practical Designs
You may have clear idea of how you want your project to look. Nick likes to visualise the build as you see it. Therefore, create a physical or virtual ‘mood board’ that details your ideas.
Safe and Secure
Nick builds your project to last using quality materials. Likewise he will construct, batten, glue and secure your project in the knowledge that safety and longevity are as important as functionality and elegance.
Surprisingly Affordable
As fairness and honesty are part of Nick’s ethos, he accurately quotes, commits to a start date and remains focused on your build until conclusion.
